In the Spring of 1989, singer/songwriter Sharyn Pauquette was encouraged to move to Los Angeles to record her music with her sister Liane. The girls performed as "The Paquettes", an acoustical guitar act until joined by natives of their hometown, bassist and cousin Tom Pascucci, and guitarist Peter Barker, who had played and recorded music together for many years.
