Amy Kuney is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter that you should be familiar with if you aren't already. Her biggest supporters include Damien Rice and Kate Voegele and she has played at clubs in New York and LA that feature new singer-songwriters. Even after only a few spins (okay, I played it a lot), Bird's Eye View already plays like some of the classic singer-songwriters of the 1970s like Court and Spark and Late For The Sky. Amy's songs have a simple elegance, a romantic lyricism and are very memorable and immediately catchy. Excellent musical performances by all involved, impeccable arrangements and production make this album a great listen. Amy's songs are well-crafted, polished gems that invite repeated listens. This CD will stay in or near your CD player! Highlights include the prayerful Angel Tangled In The Telephone Line, the bouncy and jaunty Would You Miss Me, and the obvious pick for hit single, Thank You For Last Night. And the excellent title song.
